pubblicato il 9 mesi faHi! Proton Pass has both a premium and a free version: https://account.proton.me/pass/signup. Moreover, we are constantly working on expanding the list of password managers you can import your logins from. Feel free to let us know if you had experienced any issues while using our services in an update to your review or by contacting us at pass@protonme.zendesk.com. We'd be happy to help with troubleshooting. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18091897, 9 mesi fa

Also the back and forth with their support team is very frustrating,

pubblicato il 10 mesi faHi! Both services are managed under the same account, so you need to be logged in to use Proton Pass. If this is a cause for concern for you, you can create a separate account for Proton Pass only. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 16418872, un anno faDoesn't have autofill which makes is dealbreaker considering it's one of the core features that every other password manager already has.
To make it worse, they use the term "autofill" to describe their difinitively MANUAL method of entering credentials. It's misleading, and confusing. I even wasted two days communicating with their customer support in a frustrating back-and-forth because they don't understand what "autofill" means.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faCan you elaborate on what exactly you're referring to by 'autofill' so we make sure there are no misunderstandings?
Autofill should work on most websites (by suggesting your saved login items for a particular website when you go to log into that website) the same way that your memorized passwords in your browser might work.
We're working on improving the autofill functionality for all web services reported by our community. Please feel free to flag any problematic web services or apps to us either by editing your review or by contacting us at pass@protonme.zendesk.com, and we'll note your feedback for future improvements. Thank you for taking the time to rate and review our extension! - Valutata 1 su 5di C Wolland, un anno faUpon reevaluating the Firefox Extension, Proton Pass, it's clear that it holds true to its commitment of being an entirely private and secure password manager—it efficiently safeguards all your data, metadata included. However, the user interface could see enhancements, particularly in terms of detail management. As it stands at the time of this review, only a limited portion of the screen is available for editing all your details.
A key gripe for me is the inability to adjust your login email address—a restriction that Proton itself doesn't see as crucial, suggesting users subscribe to a new package with a different address if desired. This is puzzling, especially since I've managed to alter my email address on other secure platforms like sync.com, which also incorporate end-to-end encryption. Such experiences affirm that this feature, indeed, can be integrated, even within E2E encryption models' framework.
Despite these early developmental challenges and teething issues—commonplace for any new product—Proton Pass, barring the aforementioned points, proves itself to be an impressive offering.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faIf you're on a premium plan, you're able to log in with any of the additional email addresses you may have on your single paid account.
It's not possible to alter or disable the original email address tied to your Proton account at the moment, as this is not only used for Pass but all other Proton services as well. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18002534, un anno faWas really looking forward to using this as my first password manager. However, when going through websites and updating old vulnerable passwords, Proton Pass did not save or offer to save the newly updated password. So after using the "suggest strong password" from Proton Pass, it never saves it! What's the point then?
Firefox asked immediately to save these after updating but Proton did not, making it the inferior product at the time of this review. Extremely disappointed and irritated. And yes "Prompt for auto-save" is turned on in the settings.Replica dello sviluppatore

I have already reported this bug via Proton Customer Support (request #2325002). I'm uninstalling this add-on.

- Valutata 1 su 5di George Davis, un anno faI'm sure that this Password Manager app will be as awesome as Protons other products such as their email and VPN, if I ever get to understand how to use it?
:Note to PROTON: Please, learn how to simplify your approach to doing installs. I have had much difficulty with the VPN and it took me forever to adsorb most of what I need from your great Email app, but this Password Manager? Not so much!Replica dello sviluppatore

I don't understand what I need to do in order to make this app work beyond the initial 7 day trail period??

If for some reason you choose not to offer user+password remembering functionalities on localhost / non encrypted connections, you should be decent enough to fallback your user to default Firefox functionalities.

(file appears to be corrupt error) I know, the service is on beta and this is a browser that uses firefox "framework" and is not necessarily Firefox. However I'd like the service to at least be accessible from web address (to consider adopting the service). I am not installing Firefox instead, as it would kill the entire purpose of a privacy-focused environment.
Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faHi! The Mullvad browser is based on Firefox ESR 102.10 (extended support release). Because of this, it lacks some of the features from manifest v3, which are required by Proton Pass. However, supporting the Mullvad browser is something we may look into in the future. Additionally, when the Mullvad browser switches to a newer version of Firefox ESR, it may become compatible with Proton Pass.
