- Rated 5 out of 5by level6, 2 years agoPaid for 26 months... got about 3 working months, so far. They've removed their "Live Chat" links it seems. Shame. I loved SurfShark. This extension has been trash about 75% of the time I've gone to use it, though, and I am NOT in the position for full VPN on this host. It MUST be by browser profile.
EDIT: I use multiple FF profiles on this machine to segregate everything for my online identities. I have found that this is happening in one FF profile, whlle "Firefox is being updated in another profile." When I switch to my main profile, it is waiting for "restart to update Firefox". Once I restart to complete the update, this extension begins working, again. I would suggest that everyone make sure your FF is not in mid-update.
You also must make sure to update this SurfShark extension in each profile separately (all extensions, really). And restart each profile.

But in the past month and a half, it stopped. Proxy connection error. Two chats with support later (the first making me reset/reinstall entire Firefox pointlessly, the second finally admitting it's a known issue and promising me they're working on it) it's still not resolved. If it doesn't, soon - I'm going to be forced to consider cancelling my (almost four-year long) subscription.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17125552, 2 years agoAfter about 3 to 5 minutes of using the Surfshark Firefox extension my computer internet connection slows to a crawl. Tried support but to no avail. The support group at Surfshark gave many suggestions but none seemed to fix the problem.
This problem has only been occurring in the last 3-4 months. Probably a fault in the updated software.....my guess.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by BurcakA, 2 years agoI may be an odd ball, but am using Surfshark mainly on Mac / Firefox. The Firefox extension is slow and buggy, but has the bypass list which I need. The Mac app works much better, but does not have a bypass list, which, for my purposes, renders it pretty much useless. This has been an unaddressed problem for the past year. Both of these products need urgent updates, IMHO...

Но конкретно это расширение выгядит устаревшим и не обновлялось уже 3 года, по сравнению с хромом, там приложение выглядит куда лучше и современнее. Хотелось бы, чтобы и для фаерфокса обновили.
