- Rated 4 out of 5by Tango Wert, a year agoExtensions works like it supposed to. Only issue i have with it, is that whenever I try to find a word ( cmnd + f ) on the doc, the highlight appears dark, making it hard to find what im looking for. Other than that, this extension really helps out my eyes. Thanks!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Valaska, 2 years agoI would love this but for some reason "Custom" doesn't just turn off the google page colour, it ends up making your custom colour one page, and the next page will be the background colour, and so on.
This would be a perfect extension if you never have to change the page colour to differentiate projects etc. I prefer a beige background for our main project, and grey shade for another, and a really dull robbinshell for my third project. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17901881, 2 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by trey, 2 years agothis is a lovely addon, thank you for giving us an option that works without modifying existing document formatting/text colors! i think the only thing i'd critique is that there isn't an option to use the original document's background color, and that can be easily remedied by just copy/pasting the hex code.
would you consider / are you planning on doing something similar or adding compatibility with google sheets? it would be much appreciated if so, but honestly even this by itself is a life saver! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17812896, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by axemetaphor, 2 years agoHiii, I love this add-on, it's the best one for Dark Mode in google docs that exists, but I'm writing this to let you know that in the newest version (as of writing, 0.6.1), there's a glitch where the top bar of the document (where the title and dropdowns such as File, Edit, View, etc are) does not go dark like the rest of the page. I have a screenshot of this glitch but can't seem to attach it, if you'd like to take a look at it. I've tried closing and reopening the doc, turning the extension off and on again, and even uninstalling/reinstalling it, and it persists. 5 stars otherwise, since I'm sure this will be fixed soon, and it's not like it inhibits my writing, it's just a little distracting.

posted 2 years agoThank you for leaving a positive review and sharing your feedback—I would love to help resolve this issue. Please feel free to open an issue on GitHub or email issues@waymondrang.com with the screenshot and any additional details. - Rated 5 out of 5by DukeDoozy, 2 years agoAfter starting to use this add-on, I realized it was the best dark mode for docs bar none. When a recent update damaged its usefulness, the developer quickly fixed it, even though they are just a student as per their website. That level of care and dedication to what may seem like a small feature (but is in no way small for me, it has increased my productivity by leaps and bounds) motivated me to finally leave a review for this fantastic add-on.

posted 2 years agoI greatly appreciate your positive review—I try my best to be responsive and to maintain quality and user satisfaction! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17618810, 2 years agoAfter posting a review about how an update broke a core feature of the Addon, the developer responded with a hotfix update within 12 hours of my posting the review, and responded. They also responded to two other people who had a similar issue. Excellent dev response, and a great addon with many options that now works again.

Edit: Thanks for the response! The update seems to have fixed the issue, and this is back to being one of the most useful add-ons in the entire catalogue.Developer response

Thank you so much for this add-on, it's amazing and has saved me so much headache!Developer response

Upon updating, if the invert option still does not work as expected, please contact issues@waymondrang.com. - Rated 4 out of 5by Coolshows101, 2 years agoIt used to be really good. Now google changed their to bar and it appears white. Hopefully this can be changed soon.
