- Rated 3 out of 5by Miletos, 7 years agoDoesn't work in empty tabs (REALLY annoying!) or FF configuration tabs (settings, addons, etc)

- Rated 3 out of 5by sergeyf, 7 years agoDidn't work with FF 57.0 from start. Blank settings/no gestures. After some magic, I've managed to get into settings and setup gestures. Still display popup menu after gesture. I would like to have predefined gestures set.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13441100, 7 years agoit is not like the mouse gestures extensions that you were able to install in previous version of FF. You are not able to customize the gestures. I miss the View Page Source of Mouse Gestures Suite Extension by Lemon Juice....
Anytime you want to use this extension the contextual menu appears, which is annoying and confusing, besides the gestures are not working... - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12841763, 7 years agoWorks very well for me. This might be unpopular request but I wish in future there's a gesture for copy link location, it's useful when copying many link to download with Jdownloader2. Overall it's a very nice mouse gestures for WE and deserve a higher rating. Thank you for making our browsing easier Mark :)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13210686, 7 years ago1. The context menu popup that appears when right-clicking after a gesture operation is always inconvenient.
Can I not get the context menu to disappear?
2. I'd like gestures to work in tabs like Firefox "Settings", "Add-ons Manager" and so on. I am uncomfortable because I can not close it with a gesture.
3. The "Close Tab" gesture does not work if only one blank tab is created. I am requesting correction.

posted 7 years agoPlease read the addon description. Web extensions cannot work in internal pages so that will never be supported. FireGestures is not a web extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13421843, 7 years agoit was really helpful. but crruntly it does not work in twitch(site). inactive list is scroll down,up scroll to bottom,up.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13420318, 7 years agoI'd prefer a home/end gesture instead of the slow scrolling. Is this possible? Also hoping for three finger swipe gestures on macOS
Edit: perfect for my use - Rated 5 out of 5by pulbitz, 7 years agoIt is the best of webex mouse gestures add-on.
feature request: please add keypress gestures - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13415808, 7 years agoThis Add-on is great except below:
chord gesture [Right + Left]+[Open Link in New Background Tab] behave wrong.
For example, when I use this gesture to link, Firefox will open link in new back tab AND current tab. - Rated 1 out of 5by 1Akus, 7 years agoWHen I hover my mouse to select the gesture it just ignores it.

posted 7 years agoPlease try again, I fixed a bug that broke the options page. Press the gesture button and draw the gesture. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mike, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by theFlash2K5, 7 years agoThe add-on is almost to the point where I'd consider it a worthy successor to FireGestures. It's not as feature rich, but that's not the fault of the dev - it just won't be able to be as feature rich when Mozilla is limiting what the new API's can do.
That being said, there are a few things that have prevented me from switching over to this add-on before I decide to upgrade to FF57.
I think it needs a little more options for customization. For instance, it lets you directly save an image or bring up the save image dialogue, but it can be a little annoying to deal with. Like a few other add-ons, it defaults to the 'downloads' directory, which isn't what I want. I'd rather have the option to map a mouse gesture to either "save page" or "save image as" instead of "save image." It's a small gripe, but a function I use quite often, so it's a sticking point for me.
Otherwise, I like the direction the add-on is going and I'm keeping an eye on it's development. Given how much FF57 is going to change, I don't plan on upgrading right away, so hopefully waiting and watching will be a good chance for add-ons to iron out and add in new features that can help restore some of the old functionality that we'll be losing when the new API's hit.
ETA: Read the dev's comments below. Good to know! I figured it was probably issues on Mozilla's end. With such a big change coming, there's bound to be issues. Thanks for the heads up.Developer response
posted 7 years agoI've already opened an issue on Bugzilla about the "save image as" issue. That is a problem with Firefox, not the addon. See: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1395207 - Rated 5 out of 5by mohamad, 7 years ago

Other than that, it's working OK.Developer response
posted 7 years agoNo web extension addons work on AMO or in about: pages. This is a limitation of web extensions. This is written in the addon description. - Rated 5 out of 5by CanIregisterThisTime, 7 years agoI can see the purple lines but nothing happens. Go to the extension's option page and there's nothing there. Still gets a five star review because ordinarily it works quite well considering the limitations of webextensions.
Edit - Nevermind! Works fine after a browser restart. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13379668, 7 years agoDoes not work at all. The right click menu still shows up, so you can't perform any gestures.
