posted 10 months agoSorry for offending your sensibilities by providing a featureful browser extension free of charge and with no strings attached. How can I ever make it up to you?
You could, for instance, fork it (MIT License) and fix the issues yourself. Or you could see that I still acknowledge the need for high-priority fixes and security updates, though none have been filed since I made the announcement and pinned it to the top of the bug tracker. https://github.com/seansfkelley/nas-download-manager/issues/227

- Rated 1 out of 5by Muppet, 4 years agoIt suddenly needs 2 factor authentication it used to be possible to login over again in same browser to fix this however it no longer works like this, please add 2 factor authentication support
- Rated 1 out of 5by Twisted World, 6 years agoConstantly giving me connection errors, even though the "test" is reporting everything to be fine. Meanwhile, this plugin is constantly spamming me about the plugin costing a lot of time to develop (which I highly doubt considering its current state) and wanting me to donate to a dysfunctional plugin with crappy support and false promises. Just cutting and pasting download links work way better than this junk!

posted 6 years agoThe latest version (just released) makes the Test Connection button attempt to re-login to fix connection errors.
I'll note that the only place I ask for a contribution is on the settings page, using the understated Firefox-default message, which hardly qualifies as spamming. I provide this addon free of charge and nobody is forcing you to use it. Check your entitlement. Developer response

Developer response
posted 7 years agoHm, that's unexpected and I'm not sure why it would do that (since antivirus heuristics are proprietary secrets). If you're concerned, you can always read the source for yourself at https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager and see that nothing is amiss! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12907009, 7 years ago

posted 7 years agoHey, sorry it doesn't work for you. It might be easy to include; if you post an issue at https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues I can take a look at it!
