waiting a debug - Rated 4 out of 5by The One, 4 years agoWorks great, at least up to DSM 6.2.4, and saves me a lot of clicking. Except:
It often loses the settings for my NAS, causing me to end up clicking lots of things to download, only to have them not be sent to the NAS (I also rarely see the 'failed to connect' pop up error that I should in that case).
Every time, I have to go to the extension's options and reenter *all* the connection settings and options, as if it's a clean install.
This isn't every day or reboot or anything like that (where I might realise the cause), but happens randomly perhaps roughly once a week or two.
I'm not doing anything myself to cause this; I don't even allow FF to auto-update itself although I do keep extensions on automatic. Perhaps it's when this gets an update?
Anyway, other than that annoyance, it's a great utility. - Rated 4 out of 5by bestiux, 4 years agoFunciona muy bien siempre y cuando no añadas la verificación en dos pasos
- Rated 4 out of 5by bodbod, 4 years agogreat add-on, very good job in making it well integrated. Lately i just got some challenges with the 2FA option which does not make it compatible anymore. Hence, I have disabled the 2FA for users via the NAS admin interface but kept it on for admin, however the error message still appears even after removing the add-on and reboot...
- Rated 4 out of 5by Ju., 4 years agoGreat module but unfortunately it stopped working since version 0.10.0 on a DS110J with DSM 5.2-5967 Update 9 (and Firefox 88.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS) => connection on the 110J is ok but adding an url to download fails.
Version 0.9.3 is working like a charm.Developer response
posted 4 years agoHey, I'm sorry to hear that. You can give 0.10.1 a shot, which fixed some issues. If that doesn't work, you can file an issue at https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues and I can figure out what went wrong. - Rated 4 out of 5by LeopardPagan, 4 years agoPlease fix the bug. ----> Been a great plug in until I started to use Wordpress & could not log in to my Wordpress dashboard until this plugin was disabled in Forefox.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Andras, 5 years agoThis would be much better, if i could choose to which folder i want to download on my NAS.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Sam G, 5 years agoUpdate Edit: Thanks for the clarification! This deserves 5* if we can have the feature to add several magnets at the same time (instead of 1).

posted 5 years agoYou're probably thinking of another extension, as there is no version of that feature in either the Chrome or Firefox versions of this addon. It's on my radar though, and there's a tracking issue for it at https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues/28.
Edit: this is now supported using the + button in the popup. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15367470, 5 years agoLove this extension but please give us the option to choose where to send a file when downloading a torrent when we right click on a torrent.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13027514, 5 years agoEverything is fine, but there are not enough buttons to "stop all" / "resume all" as it is implemented in the extension for chrome (www.download-station-extension.com)
PS Useful during online games for example - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15281884, 5 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by kret, 6 years agoCould You change:
1) Multiple links can be paste
2) Put possibility "resume" when file download error shows up. In DS app, when an error download file appears, the Play button can be used to resume download. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13450204, 6 years agoCannot connect to NAS after upgrade to DSM version 6.2.1-23824. It says "Connection failure".
Update: it works only with HTTP, not with HTTPS, but I don't know why, it worked before upgrading.Developer response
posted 6 years agoIt sounds like you need to use an HTTP certificate that your browser accepts and/or you're using the wrong port. In the case of the certificate, the extension is not capable of letting you add an exception like you can in normal browsing, so you need to specifically accept your certificate browser-wide for it to work. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14088900, 7 years agoWonderful application, only thing missing is a location selection for downloading/to-be-download files. Other than that, works perfectly.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13750850, 7 years agoGreat extension! It would be perfect if the download option were in the long-press' list. I don't know if it's possible on Android....
