Firefox 131.0 (aarch64) / Mac OS 14.6.1
Depuis quelques jours, l'extension Proton Pass se déconnecte du compte Proton à chaque fermeture de Firefox.
A chaque lancement de Firefox, il faut se ré-identifier dans l'extension ProtonPass, ce qui est pénible et dissuasif.
Précédemment, l'extension fonctionnait parfaitement.
J'ai supprimé et réinstallé l'extension mais sans succès.

J'avais supprimé et réinstallé l'extension mais ça n'avait rien changé.
Il n'y a pas de message d'erreur mais dans le champ mot de passe le logo Proton est plus clair signe qu'il faut se connecter à ProtonPass. Une fois effectué, l'extension fonctionne bien mais dès que l'on quitte Firefox, elle se déconnecte et il faut recommencer le processus de connexion.
J'ai dû le faire tous les jours jusqu'à aujourd'hui où, sans action particulière de ma part (sauf une maintenance approfondie par CleanMyMac), l'extension est restée connectée et refonctionne normalement.
Je remonte la note à 4 *

Fantastic for work, personal, husbands and wives and any combination of. Proton continues to be a social good, offering fantastic features for gratis users, while providing generally Free Software with ethical subscriptions.

Proton pass works readily between your paid and unpaid accounts.

This is one of the best password manager's I've used.

Using the free version on Android and Windows.

This is my preferred password manager and MFA tool but it still needs a lot of work. In particular the process of creating a new account needs fixing so that new accounts and logins created are automatically saved, rather than having to manually create a login and then manually feed the details into the website. Currently Proton Pass suggests a login and password to autofill but does not actually save these automatically if you select them. This means that you immediately have to change you password again.

Userfriendly and safe

Good but can be better. I wish it had
- light mode (current dark mode is too dark, difficult to read)
- unlock with touch-id

Added to Firefox, instantly the browser starts experiencing lock ups which I have to force quit out of. Disappointing.
EDIT: Seems there was a conflict. I had the LastPass extension installed, and as part of testing out the Proton Pass product, to see if I could switch, I had left LastPass installed. Once I disabled the LastPass extension in Firefox, the Proton Pass extension worked correctly.
