- Rated 5 out of 5by i686, 7 years agoAfter youtube changed the viewing experience, at least after aug. 17, this stopped working.
- Rated 5 out of 5by RYau, 7 years agoI regret so much about making a lowest rate. Actually, one only needs to close the new features on YouTube to get it working. Besides, to import a list, one only needs to find the folder "jid1-3OQ5HY7YsLBV7Q@jetpack" in "\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ipma0ofh.default\browser-extension-data", and revise the file "storage.js" therein.
Thank so much for your hard work, and do excuse my previous rudeness.
UPDATED: it is claimed that both issues have been fixed in the latest Version 5.2.6. Will try it later.

Old review: I'm so sorry to give the lowest rate. It's only working for the first time and then doesn't work any more. I tried reinstalling it but it didn't help. And I can't even import the file, neither by the menu button or by the method suggested on their page.
It is also noted that it's been a year since last update. Is it because of the incompatibility of the firefox update? Could you help look into it?
Anyway, thanks for your effort. - Rated 5 out of 5by Jadstri01, 7 years agoI sure hope you get this working again. I had to block a heck of a lot of channels, often for click baiting and false information that I don't want to see again.
- Rated 3 out of 5by greyredroses, 7 years agoI've tried importing the "store.json" file several times and nothing is imported. Also, this add-on is still broken when trying to right-click on videos.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13260089, 7 years agoProgram is awesome. I can barely browse Youtube anymore without this extension. So many shitty Youtube channels, it's nice to block all that garbage. Please... I beg you.... update this for the new Youtube.
Go to your account and turn off new youtube, extension works again! WOOHOO!
All you people giving it one star are total jackasses! It was working great, not his fault Youtube decided to overhaul their site. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13260046, 7 years agoПерестал работать, не добавляются каналы в блокировку. Ноль реакции.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13259883, 7 years agoYoutube switched up it's layout and no matter how much I press the "block channel" button on Youtube with my right click the app still won't work. It's just not the same constantly clicking "not interested" next to the videos. I want to block out annoying channels that are no longer useful or relevant to me.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13067370, 7 years agoI have tried & tried to get this program to work with no luck yet. It does nothing at all for me on Fire Fox. I just gave up on this program & I had to uninstalled it from my PC. Hopefully this gets fixed in an upcoming update for other people who want to use it.
- Rated 4 out of 5by BladeNext, 7 years agoThis extension allows you to fully block channels that are bad or unneeded, but you cannot do that with the new youtube style, which is pretty bad. I did not check if you can with the channel manual add feature but it is still bad that you cannot do it as easily or ever on the new style.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Joe Nicolas, 7 years agoWhat an add-on! One of the most useful add-ons I've ever found. Finally I can block spoilers in YT and can block unwanted annoying channels. But, it's not working with the newer look of YT. You have keep your YT look classic. And for the devs, please I beg to you, please make this add-on work for mobile Firefox, please, please. This add-on is so useful. Thanks a lot guys. :)
- Rated 5 out of 5by andario2007, 7 years agoI don´t know what people are smoking here, but this is working for me on FF 54.0.1 x64, even while using "Enhancer for Youtube" at the same time.
At first I did try copying the Youtube address and add it to the filter, but that doesn´t work, you have to use the name channel, or just use the right click menu and add it, which is the easiest way to do it.
Absolutely no issues after using it for a month.
Thanks so much, Mr. Developer! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13231662, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13229773, 7 years agoIt would be amazing if I could block an entire topic (like 'Sports' or 'Comedy', using the topic tag in the video description) instead of just individual YouTubers. Do you plan a feature like that?
Besides that, it's a great add-on. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13199897, 7 years agoJust a heads up that the new YT interface pretty much breaks the add-on. All the stuff you had blocked is now back visible. Giving it a 5* just because it worked for me personally before this. Just hope it can be fixed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13174466, 7 years agoThis used to work really well until a while back it quit working all together. Now it will block the first entry after you delete it and reinstall it, but that's it. Useless currently...
- Rated 1 out of 5by ashleedawg, 7 years agoI take back the nice things I said, this appears to be stuffed with malware that shows up after reboot. Affected both browsers i installed it in (firefox and chrome) and I haven't installed anything since. Loads a fake FLASH Update screen that takes me to some nefarious site. Uninstalled - Reboot - Ran Defender - Reboot - Problem solved I think.
Combined with troublesome UI and even spelling mistakes, I'm not giving this utility any more chances. I'm sure I can find another tool to do the job. - Rated 5 out of 5by Hyōkkuda Ryōsan, 7 years agoI tried this add-on version 5.2.5 and it works great! Not flawlessly strangely enough because doing it manually just doesn't work great. But for instance you look for the name of a channel you don't like, you right-click on the channel's name and select "Block videos from this channel" and then you refresh the page, they won't be showing up on the list anymore. It's just perfect. There's some YouTubers I can't stand so I think this add-on works great for that!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13135179, 7 years agoSimply does not function at all. Tried manually entering the channel name, and tried the click menu shortcut, and after refreshing the page, then closing FireFox completely, the channel's videos are still showing up in my search results.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Customer5, 7 years agoVery helpful little extension, wich would help you not to stumble across obnoxious youtubers, clickbait news outlets, minecraft videos and the rest of youtube garbage.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13102817, 7 years agoTitle says it all add in the channel names, use right click "block videos from this channel." and it does absolutely nothing. Refresh the page of the video you're watching, still there. Close entire browser make a new session, the videos that you don't want to see, are still there.
